So I heard you like links

[ Personality ] :
Xion’s lived a short life, but despite that she’s managed to carve out a distinct identity for herself. Initially she can come off as shy and a bit stoic, but beneath that is a kind and altruistic young girl. In many ways she’s like the girl whose memories she’s based on. She’s incredibly loyal to those she considers her friends. Her friendships are one of the things she values most, and she’s willing to go to any lengths to protect them. She’s selfless in much the same manner, going as far as to sacrifice her own life when it became clear that it was for the greater good of not just her friends, but everyone else as well. She is the kind of person who will fight for all the right reasons, no matter the cost to herself.

Her bravery is another of her admirable aspects, but even though she won’t back down from any physical fight, there are ways to get under her skin. She’s got a good many insecurities about her own capacity, whether it’s as a fighter or a friend. During her time with the organization, Saix would constantly remind her of the fact she was nothing but a broken tool to them. When faced with a situation that brings up her own failings, she’s just as likely to lose her temper or run away as she is to stand her ground. She may show resentment for statements making her out to be useless or a fake, but these are still the things that eat at her mind in her weaker moments.

Her temperament is usually that of a calm and sweet girl, but her mood can sometimes take a quick nosedive into depressed or angered territory if given with the right provocation. Purposely pointing out her own flaws is a good way to quickly gain her ire, just as presenting her with the right amount of kindness can draw out a thousand watt smile. Her moods are an easy way to tell just how confident she’s feeling at any given moment. Being around her friends sees her happier and ready to take on anything, while leaving her feeling cornered and doubting can make her withdrawn and reckless.

Being chronologically one year old, Xion shows a lot of naivety about certain things. She’s generally educated when it comes to basic facts and general knowledge, but any kind of abstract emotional concepts outside of strong friendship are things she has a limited understanding of. What comes with this, however, is an intrinsic curiosity and eagerness to learn. When presented with a concept she doesn’t understand she’s perfectly willing to ask questions in order to fill the gaps in her knowledge. Events over the course of her year in the Organization have left her with an odd mix of wizened innocence, though. She isn’t so naïve that she can’t tell who to trust, and when it comes down to it her search for information can become quite tenacious if the reasons is important enough (such as her search for answers about her own existence).

For all of the extraordinary events surrounding her, when you come down to it Xion can be described simply as a brave girl with a good many insecurities about her own existence.

[ Strengths/Weaknesses ] :
As a replica of Roxas, Xion also has the ability to wield a Keyblade. On her own she’s fairly skilled with the weapon, but she’s far from the best as her fighting shows some rough edges from a lack of real training. Her skill with the weapon is partially due to her absorption of Sora’s memories through Roxas, and as a result her fighting style mimics both of theirs very closely, right down to their Limit Breaks. Also due to her replica status, Xion shares the light aspect with Roxas. She doesn’t take advantage of this ability often, though.

Xion is able to show a lot of spine in any straightforward fight; however she’s very easy to take down if her opponent knows the right buttons to push. Playing upon her insecurities is the absolute quickest way to kill her confidence. In her indignation she becomes reckless, and leaves herself open to what would otherwise be easy to avoid defeats.

[ Other Important Facts ] :
It’s important for me to mention that Xion’s appearance is different depending on who’s looking at her. Until they’ve built up a bit of CR with her, other are liable to see her as another member of the KH cast (depending on CR), or more likely she’ll just keep her hood up. If there’s any questions about this feel free to ask.

[ Sample ] :
Xion knows that her death is an inevitability at this point.

It has nothing to do with when, but rather why. She’s been stripped of her face, even if it wasn’t really her own to begin with, and she can’t help feeling that this is the final nail in her own coffin. In taking her face, Xemnas may think he’s taken her identity and made her a pliant replica the way they always wanted. But inside, she knows they’re wrong. She is anything but pliant, and she has every intention to prove it. She’s seen what she does, and knows that she’s keeping the person everyone really needs asleep. Her death is not only inevitable, it’s a necessity.

So she says what she has to. Threatens, taunts, instigates, and makes sure Roxas has no reason to hold back. She may refuse to be a submissive puppet, but Xion’s tired of fighting against her own strings. She’ll play her part and make it her own the only way she can.

He wears her down, just like she knew he could. Every fiber of her being feels like it’s ready to fall apart, and she can only hope that means she’s accomplished what she set out to do. Xion went into this fight intending to go back where she belonged, she’s only sad that she had to use Roxas to do it. He’s already struggling to remember who she is, but surprisingly she finds she’s okay with that. Let him forget, the memories will still be there whether he knows it or not.

She’s falling to the side, and she thinks maybe he will get there in time to catch her, but then there’s an instant where her eyes slip closed and she feels like she’s drowning.

Cold and wet with final words left unsaid, Xion’s eyes shoot open and she sits up only to be greeted by the large coral dominating the plaza. Looking around, consciousness surprisingly sharp after the haze she’d previously been immersed in, her initial thoughts are panicked.

This is certainly not where she belongs.
